FACTOR

 

Resources: Available for use in the Resource Centre are, a computer to work on, magazines to peruse, a CD listening station, a cork board to advertise on, books to read and a round table to work at that seats 4.  FACTOR also has meeting rooms available for use at no cost if required.

 

Computer: The Resource Centre has a computer available with bookmarked links to other funding agencies, Music Industry Associations across Canada, on-line publications, major radio stations, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, the CRTC, Copyright Board of Canada and more.  Microsoft Word and Excel are also available for you to work with.  If you plan to use the word processing applications, please bring a disc to save your work on!

CD Listening Station:  Our listening station has over 500 independent artists CD’s available for your listening enjoyment and a comfy reclining leather chair to relax in.  For hygienic reasons, we request that you bring your own headphones to listen to the music. 

Cork Board: Looking to do some music industry advertising?  Whether you are looking for musicians to work with, want to announce upcoming gigs, or advertise your services you are invited to post it all on our industry cork board.  The board will be updated on a regular basis to allow space for new announcements.
