Factor Open Mic (August 14th @ Cameron House)

Have you always wanted to perform in front of a live audience? Or maybe you have, but haven't found that extra-friendly crowd that you can chat with after your gig?

Well … HERE WE ARE!

Finally! The folks at FACTOR have decided to host their own Open Mic to get really up-close and personal with the artists and support them in a non-judgmental environment.

Paty Koutso, co-chair of the FACTOR Open-Mic committee, really captured the essence of this effort when saying:

"We at FACTOR are proud of the talent this country has to offer and are excited to volunteer our time to this new initiative in an environment that welcomes and inspires growth. What better place is there to do this than to go to the heart of where experience begins… an open mic."

Join us on August 14th, 2006 for this exciting event.

We invite all emerging artists and industry folk to come out, play music, meet new artists and enjoy the ambience. Your hosts for the night will be the talented Cory Kimm & Meg Tucker from CHUM-FM. Members of the FACTOR staff will be available to answer any questions about program changes, new application forms or simply to chat with.
