34 FACTOR Supported Artists Receive 61 ECMA Nominations!
Monday January 5, 2009 – Toronto, ON - The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings (FACTOR) along with the Department of Canadian Heritage and Canada’s private radio broadcasters would like to congratulate the following 34 FACTOR supported artists on their 2009 East Coast Music Award (ECMA) nomination(s). The 34 artists listed below have been nominated for a total of 61 awards at this years’ ECMA’s being held in Cornerbrook Newfoundland on Sunday March 1, 2009.

About the ECMA's: The East Coast Music Association is a registered non-profit association dedicated to the music of Atlantic Canada. The primary activity of the ECMA is the annual Awards Show and Conference. This event attracts industry professionals, talent buyers, media and record labels from around the globe. The ECMA's celebrate and honour outstanding contributions to Atlantic Canadian Music. This event is broadcast nationally and receives a viewing audience of almost 1 million.
