Program Information
The Songwriter's Educational Workshop & Seminar Support Program offers financia assistance for a professional songwriter to attend workshops & seminars. For FACTOR's purposes a professional songwriter is a songwriter with a membership to a performing rights organization. The maximum amount of funding available for the attendee is 75% of the Total Eligible Budget up to $750.
Funding for this program is provided by Canada's Private Radio Broadcasters and the Department of Canadian Heritage's Canadian Collective Initiatives Component.
