Join us for the London Music Office’s Music Talks session about FACTOR programs at Union Ten on Tuesday, October 1st from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm! We will be there to discuss FACTOR funding opportunities and cover some updates to our juried programs.
There have been recent updates to FACTOR’s two juried programs, Artist Development and Juried Sound Recording, including a reduction of deadlines and new rules around how frequently you can apply. It’s important to know about these changes before you set out to apply for a grant! This workshop will cover the basics of what FACTOR is, how it works, and how you can get started to apply for funding. The focus will be on the two juried programs, along with mentions of some of the other avenues of funding available. We’ll go over profiles, the application process (including the online portal), the juries who assess applications, and how to best increase your chances of receiving funding. Of course leaving plenty of time at the end to answer questions and address specific concerns.
