Born in the wilderness of Cranbrook, BC, Maddisun creates songwriter-folk with rootsy rock energy, blending small-town roots with big-star ambition. Her warm, magnetic presence and powerful voice have made her a standout in Canada’s folk scene and beyond. Her 2025 album The Pages has sold over 1000 physical copies, reflecting a deliberate shift toward deeper fan connection. That year, she also performed a standout Vancouver show opening for breakout artist Pearl. In January 2026, Maddisun completed a successful 13-show Ireland/UK tour with Mallory Chipman. Following her 2026 official showcase at Departure Fest in Toronto, she is embarking on a cross country tour, and is set to release her new crowd-favourite song “Natural People” in 2026.
