How To Turn Every Performance Into A Career Breakthrough
This session will be hosted by Montreal based performance coach and owner of Pimp Your Show, Olivier Laroche. During this session he will cover topics such as: his 4 step method for improving live performances; Showcase preparation; and developing a mindset that will help you succeed.
Live Arrangements & Musical Directors
This session will focus on the impact that an experienced musical director and live arrangements to studio songs can help add excitement, energy, and a more defined flow to live performances. And how these addtions help to create memorable moments for the audience.
Using Ableton to Elevate Your Performance
This session will focus on how integrating technology like Ableton live into your live set can help you deliver a more polished and professional set. Some of the topics that we will cover are: the benefits of using Ableton to run tracks, having s defined time code to help sync up different elements, and other ways to automate effects.
Showcase Applications: Do’s and Don’ts
This session will focus on how to set yourself up for success when you are preparing a showcase application. It will cover how to answer the most common types of questions presented on these applications in a way that clearly and very specifically articulate your showcase or export plans.
