​Join this evening of conversation with Billy Simard about Indigenous music royalties, discussing all avenues of how to collect money from your music being played on the radio. In addition, Noel Habel, Program Officer at Canada Council for the Arts’ Creating, Knowing and Sharing program will be in attendance for a meet and greet to answer any questions you may have about applying for Canada Council grants.​

Join this second Zhoonguweh nuhgaamwin concert celebrating the depth of Indigenous artists in Manitoba featuring singer and hand drummer Darryl Buck and singer/songwriter Ingrid Aubrey. This edition is being presented in partnership with the Manitoba Country Music Association leading up to the Manitoba Country Music Awards celebrations in Winnipeg.​

The title of the event “Zhoonguweh nuhgaamwin” was gifted by Knowledge Keeper Colin Mousseau and means “The powerful song”.​
