Sponsorship

The Sponsorship program allows FACTOR to support music-related projects and events which are not captured in other program mandates. New and genre-specific music festivals, broadcaster conferences, workshops, artist development programs, industry association events, and international showcases are examples of projects that FACTOR has supported.

Extra consideration may be given to projects and events that largely benefit underserved communities, audiences and genres. These may include (for example) Northern, remote and rural communities; Indigenous peoples and Indigenous artists; Black artists and Artists of Colour; artists identifying as LGBTQ2S.

Any Canadian person, company or organization with an appropriate project is eligible to apply. The maximum amount available is $30,000 per project. For more information about FACTOR sponsorships, please send an email to sponsorship@factor.ca.

Eligibility

Canadian owned and controlled companies may apply for funding towards events/projects that benefit a number of different copyright holders.
