Marketing and Promotion for Non-FACTOR-Funded Sound Recordings
This program supports the marketing of commercially released full-length sound recordings that were not acquired or produced with FACTOR funding. The sound recording must have been commercially released and achieved a qualifying sales threshold or had a track charting on commercial radio.

This program has rolling deadlines. You can apply as soon as the qualifying sales threshold or radio chart position has been achieved, but no later than 12 months after commercial release.

Funding & Payments
Funding is a grant. 50% is paid on approval and the remainder is paid on final completion of each component. The percentage of FACTOR’s contribution to each component is 50-100%, as detailed in the guidelines, to the project maximum of $20,000, plus up to $5,000 in additional funding through the Radio Marketing component.
FACTOR staff assess the eligibility of the projects and costs and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors for their approval. Assessment time is six to eight weeks from the date of application.
