I would not have been able to bring such a high quality of work to these spaces if it were not for the financial support of FACTOR. These opportunities have led to crucial industry connections which led a publishing deal and national booking, other show bookings, new collaborations, and more. It is a blessing to be able to hire incredible musicians along the way.

The growth of my project matters little in comparison to the impact on fans. This funding allows artists to do what is most needed in the world today: connect with the people who need our work. I cannot overstate how difficult it is to sustain a musical project nowadays, and it keeps getting harder. The challenges and surprise expenses are too many to name. Artists do not live in a utopian cloud of creativity where the real world can’t reach us. We hustle so hard to bring our work to the world, because we love you. We want to provide a healing balm for those who need it. That is the most important thing. FACTOR has helped me do exactly that. On behalf of music fans across Canada, thank you.
