Being awarded a FACTOR grant helped me tremendously. Not only did it allow me to complete the production of my album, but by helping me rent out a space to isolate myself for two months, it helped me learn how to function both organically and methodically as an independent artist.

From the filing of costs, keeping all my paperwork in order, to understanding how to develop a fluid studio flow with producers, vocalists and instrumentalists, FACTOR helps you organize yourself as well as expand your horizons.

When the album was done, I got to fund my album launch and create an experience for my record, as well as market my album further online.

It helped me grow my fanbase organically, while functioning on the periphery of the music industry. It also helped me shoot a video and tour sold out shows in Europe alongside my great friends A Tribe Called Red.
