Goldie Boutilier

The years 2025 and 2026 marked a turning point in the career of Nova Scotia artist Goldie Boutilier – and FACTOR was a big part of what made it possible.

In 2025, Goldie released Goldie Boutilier Presents… Goldie Montana, a sweeping full-length album blending ‘70s glam-rock, ‘80s synth-pop, and cinematic balladry, recorded in Paris, Nashville, and Los Angeles with an incredible lineup of producers and collaborators. The album required the kind of ambitious investment – in recording, touring, and promotion – that independent Canadian artists often can’t make without institutional support.

The results speak for themselves. Goldie’s single “King of Possibilities” became the opening theme of Netflix’s hit series The Hunting Wives, accumulating over 50 million Spotify streams, she was tapped to open for Katy Perry on the UK Lifetimes Arena Tour, performed on both daytime TV series the Kelly Clarkson show & Kelly + Mark show, and completed a completely sold out world tour. Billboard Canada named her an Artist Spotlight for their Women in Music 2025 list.

The recognition carried into 2026. At the East Coast Music Awards, Goldie swept three major categories: Breakthrough Artist, Album of the Year, and Rock/Alternative Release of the Year. She also received a Juno Award nomination in the breakthrough category.
