What’s left to do when you’ve already won the Polaris Prize and been nominated for an Oscar? If you’re Owen Pallett, it’s to continue making and sharing beautiful and complex music.
Owen released his fourth album, In Conflict, this year to critical acclaim. This album was funded by FACTOR and features some vocal and instrumental contributions from Brian Eno.
In Conflict was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize, his third album to be shortlisted for the award. This year, Owen played violin on albums for Caribou and Foxes in Fiction, and toured in Canada, the US, Europe, the UK, and Japan.
