Ralph

When I released my first Ralph song “Trouble”, my manager and I divided up a list of 400 music blogs and individually emailed each music editor about the track. It took roughly two days and a lot of screen time, but we were excited about the project and determined to see the song get notice.

Years later, I feel just as excited and driven except now the support has grown and we have others working with us who feel the same way.

FACTOR has been such a huge part of this growth, providing JSR funding for
my first EP Ralph.

That funding allowed me to work with talented producers and sound engineers, it meant I could have six songs on my EP instead of two or three, and most of all, it meant I could put out a body of work that I was proud of.

This initial funding at the start of my career helped build my success to what it is now, with 22 million streams on Spotify, a record deal, and two Canada wide tours supporting successful Canadian pop artists.

It’s an honour to be funded alongside amazing Canadian talent, I don’t take it lightly and I’m so grateful that organizations like FACTOR exist.
