FACTOR’s inaugural Promoter Program has been around for less than a year and has already made a significant impact on our work as an independent promotion company. Winnipeg boasts a diverse and vibrant music scene, but its geographical isolation makes it a difficult market to access for a lot of bands.

With this funding, we have been able to send more competitive offers to make sure Winnipeg is included on more North American tour posters. It has also helped level the playing field with larger, corporate promoters and brought a noticeable boost to our local music economy.
