It was on TikTok where “Blame Brett” truly exploded into viral stardom. Lead singer Jordan Miller took to TikTok to share the behind the scenes of her singing her heartfelt lyrics in the studio. The TikTok video quickly soared to 1.4 million views. Since that TikTok moment on May 22, The Beaches have experienced a massive surge in popularity.
The song peaked at #2 on the Spotify Daily Viral 100 Global and charted on Spotify Daily Viral 100 in the United States, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Austria. “Blame Brett” was #1 at Canadian Alternative Radio for 15 weeks and is currently #18 at US alternative radio and climbing. In November 2023, the song was certified Gold in Canada.
