Women in the Studio Accelerator 2025 Cohort

Music Publishers Canada has today announced the 2025 cohort of the Women in the Studio Accelerator program. Read the full announcement here.

Now in its seventh year and with 40 past graduates, the training program provides music producers with a series of curated sessions and workshops that focus on skills development as well as networking opportunities with music industry leaders that may otherwise be inaccessible to them. The accelerator targets mid-career producers who are already producing for others and equips them with skills and connections vital for them to take the next step in their music industry career.

The 2025 Women in the Studio Accelerator Cohort includes:

CEC – Winnipeg, MB

Daggerss – Altona, MB

Emma Whale – Burlington, ON

Lila Gray – Vancouver, BC

Maze – Montreal, QC

Ramona Vee – Toronto, ON

TARANEH – Ottawa, ON

“Women artists have rightfully claimed their space in the spotlight – whether on stage or in the studio,” said Meg Symsyk, President and CEO of FACTOR – The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings. “But engineers and producer roles at the studio stubbornly remain a space where women aren’t afforded equal opportunities to bring their creativity and technical skill to the process of crafting that next enduring hit song. Women in the Studio is the leading edge of that wedge for creating and keeping space for women to express their talent in the recording process and we’re proud to claim this will remain a #FACTORfunded initiative until the goal of parity is achieved.”
