FACTOR’s Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Committee met with the FACTOR Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Board and FACTOR staff, over two days on September 15 – 16, 2020. The meeting was held online with committee members joining from across Canada. The agenda items discussed included the following:
- Sponsorship program and Outreach
- Committee Mission Statement
- Overview of diversity & inclusion activities undertaken in 2019-2020
- Program statistics (demographic data for the juried programs, artists rated 2 and 3, and jurors)
- Introduction of the Internal Diversity & Inclusion Working Group
- Communications
The FACTOR staff, the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Board, with the Chair of the advisory committee, will create a list of action items from these meetings, and present them to the FACTOR Board of Directors at the next board meeting in early October. The final action items as approved by the board will be shared and updated on FACTOR’s Diversity and Inclusion page on the website.
